DO NOT USE MY IMAGES WITHOUT PERMISSION!
There are more babies on the next page, Chopsaw 2!
This page represents the work of my evil alter ego, Dr. Chopsaw. These pieces are inspired by shock rock, horror movies and comics, as is most of my work, but these go many steps further.
THESE ARE PLASTIC DOLLS. THEY ARE NOT REAL AND DO NOT REPRESENT ANYTHING REAL. IF YOU ARE UPSET BY HORROR MOVIES, ZOMBIES OR PLASTIC DOLLS, TURN BACK NOW AND DON'T LOOK AT THEM. I DO NOT CONDONE OR PROMOTE VIOLENCE, CHILD ABUSE, THE DIDDLING OF PLASTIC DOLLS OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT. ANY SUCH NOTION IS THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE VIEWER AND DOES NOT REFLECT THE ATTITUDES OR PHILOSOPHIES OF THE ARTIST.
For me, these seem like a natural step in the evolution of my work. Lately I have become very discouraged with the "real" art world and have focused my energy on horror and Hallowe'en related themes. For more wonderful horror dolls, go to : www.autopsybabies.com They are done by an artist named :jem. He truly kicks ass.
Here are the babies...

"Borin" SOLD
This one was the first. I named him after a co-worker. This is only a head, I may add a body at some point or I may just sell it as is.

"Plate" SOLD
This is Plate. I thought it would be fun to make one with a big metal plate screwed to his head.

Here's a better view of the plate.

"Screweye" SOLD
I think this is what would happen if Dr. Frankenstein re-animated babies. I was listening to sound clips from the old Frankenstein movies and lots of Rob Zombie when I came up with this.

"Betti Tummi Pump" SOLD
This was inspired by my favorite Alice Cooper song of all time: "Dead Babies" from the 1971 album "Killer". She comes with her own stomach tube and empty pill bottle (not shown).

This has to be the creepiest thing I have ever made. I imagine a movie about legions of zombie babies that swarm on people and suck their brains out.

"Berserk"
This one is in honor of my favorite local band, Minds Under Cover. I had this attached to John Bersuch's mic stand in their last show.

The following three photos are of a "companion" piece to the baby currently in progress (as of 3/19/05):

Wait til you see the whole thing...

So here is Gut Bunny's little friend. I don't have a name for him yet. I originally found this doll on the street, run over by a car. Now he is back from the dead! Here is a closeup of his face:

Friend or food? This doll is SOLD.
5/1/2005:
"My Size Bride of Frankenstein" is finished enough to photograph. There is still some work to be done, but here she is:

The following piece I call "Rotten Ronnie". The torso is mocked up for these photographs. When finished he will be "life" size. By the way, for those who might get bent out of shape: IT'S ONLY A T-SHIRT (it doesn't mean anything!)

Believe it or not, I sleep just fine with these things in my room. I find them rather comforting...

Could somebody give me a hand?

I made this mask a year ago, before Dr. Chopsaw had come into being. I think it belongs on this page, though...

Here are a couple of recently completed babies as of June 2, 2005. The first was intended to have black wings. I may still add them if I find or make a suitable pair:

NOTE: It has come to my attention that this is a popular image some people are using for the background of their Myspace pages. DO NOT USE THIS OR ANY OF MY IMAGES WITHOUT EXPRESS WRITTEN PERMISSION. TO DO SO IS IN VIOLATION OF U.S. COPYRIGHT LAW AND IT'S STEALING. If you want to use one or more of my pictures, you must email me first. Then you must give me credit for the image AND post a link to my website. I WILL FIND OUT IF YOU DON'T. Please respect my rights to my work. Thank you.
Some people think that clowns are scary. I'll do what I can to keep that going:

She's the "crying-on-the-inside" kind of clown:

Put on a happy face...

I finally gave Berserk a body and presented him (her?) to John Bersuch for his birthday. The dress was just the thing he needed:
